Lullaby of Birdland

What is it?
"Lullaby of Birdland" is a Jazz&Blues festival that is held by The Autumn Leaves community where anyone could show off their Jazz&Blues skills especially in free-style or improvisation with 4 kinds of instrument: piano, guitar, saxophone, and violin.

It's an annual event that always held on May and invites at least one Jazz&Blues singer. For this event, Ella Jane Fitzgerald is going to rock the stage!

FYI, Ella Jane Fitzgerald is an African-American jazz singer. She's known as the First Lady of Song, Queen of Jazz, and Lady Ella. She was noted for her purity of tone, impeccable diction, phrasing, intonation, and a "horn-like" improvisational ability, particularly in her scat singing. The Voice of Hibakusha

On August 6, 1945, during World War II (1939-45), an American B-29 bomber dropped the world’s first deployed atomic bomb over the Japanese city of Hiroshima. The explosion wiped out 90 percent of the city and immediately killed 80,000 people; tens of thousands more would later die of radiation exposure.  Three days later, a second B-29 dropped another A-bomb on Nagasaki, killing an estimated 40,000 people. Japan’s Emperor Hirohito announced his country’s unconditional surrender in World War II in a radio address on August 15, citing the devastating power of “a new and most cruel bomb.”  This atomic bomb gave so many pains for Japanese citizen back then. Don’t just look to the amount of the killed people. There are 650.000 victims who had to experience the incident.
